Tree House Yoga has been the perfect addition to our enrichment program!  The children, staff and families look forward to it every week!  Ms. Sarah’s calming voice and fun Yoga curriculum, not only helped the children in strengthening their large motor muscles and opening up their young minds, but they had a blast while doing it.  I couldn’t wait to hear about and see the poses that the children learned each week!  We can’t wait until our next session begins!

Treehouse Yoga for Children brings yoga and mindfulness techniques to children of all ages within Chester County through fun, age-appropriate exercises, games, and activities.  Kids who practice yoga and mindfulness activities have been shown to be less stressed, develop better focus, and are more compassionate.

Our unique classes are built around a theme to be both age appropriate and engaging. Children explore and have a voice during every class. Treehouse Yoga instructors encourage children to use their imagination with a guided direction toward the theme. Themes may include stories, music, partnering, and more.

Interested in bringing a yoga program into your school?

All classes are structured to encompass the five foundations that are known to focus, engage, and relax students allowing them to return to their studies with a refreshed mind and calm body.

Breathwork (Pranayama)

As children grow in their yoga practice breathwork (conscious breathing) will be incorporated into sequences of poses.

Poses (Asana)

Poses turn into short sequences for children to flow through.

Partner/group poses

We encourage children to work together, building their understanding of unity and teamwork.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness and meditation activities are incorporated into every class to build children’s focus on one objective.

Rest time (Savasana)

Relaxation time allows children to rest after accomplishments during class.
